How pricing works here
Two things you should know: what the work costs, and how we make money. Both answers are short.
What the work costs
City and service pages show a price range, not a fixed price — because honest pricing for a plumbing visit in Gurgaon and a full house repaint are different animals. Ranges are built from real quotes and completed jobs in that specific city.
Where we don't yet have enough real local data, we show no number at all rather than a made-up one. If a page has no price band yet, that's why — it appears when the data is real.
Your actual price always comes from the professionals' quotes — up to 3, side by side, before you commit to anything.
What you pay us
ExpertBazaar is free for customers. Getting quotes, comparing, choosing, reviewing — all free. No booking fee, no service charge, no premium tier.
So how do we make money?
Professionals pay a small fixed fee only when they accept a lead — ₹200 for most services. They pay nothing to be listed, nothing for notifications, and no commission on the job value.
This matters to you for one reason: we earn the same whether your job is ₹300 or ₹30,000. There is no incentive for us to inflate prices, push bigger jobs, or favour whoever pays more — because nobody can pay more. Placement can't be bought.
